This is an excellent adventure story for children. It has strongly captured my (7 years old) son’s imagination from the very first chapter to the extent that he couldn’t wait to read the next one.
The story is not only full of interesting events but it also carries an educational value that teaches the children how people (especially children) lived in Victorian times while it draws a comparison to the comfortable lives that children live in the modern world.
The story encourages empathy and compassion between children to help other, less privileged, children (and this is the part which impressed my son the most).
Thank you, Lola, for such an interesting story.
We can’t wait for the next adventure.
